Tattoo Removal

A safe and successful method of eyebrow tattoo removal.

Overview

A safe and successful method of eyebrow tattoo removal is saline tattoo removal. The procedure (also done by a certified professional) is almost identical to permanent makeup application, but instead of pigment, a saltwater/saline solution is injected into the brow area.

The skin is numbed and gently abraded by tattooing over the skin with a sterile needle to expose the pigment beneath the outside layers of skin. Once the skin is prepared, an application of a fading solution is applied to help draw out the unwanted color. This is done very superficially as to prevent scarring and this should only be done on small areas. This process causes the skin to become inflamed, and as the skin heals, the solution will help force out some of the microscopic particles of old tattoo ink or pigment. Because of the numbing process, this is much less painful than laser and other removal solutions.

Waiting periods between sessions are about 6-8 weeks.  This process is a REDUCTION process, and does not remove all of the color at once. It generally takes 5-10 sessions to complete.  MULTIPLE applications must be executed, and must be allowed to heal completely for a period of at least 8 weeks between sessions. We use a saline solution and we may also suggest using a urea cream afterward such as accuzyme, panafil, ziox. Mixtures like Blooper, Tat-gone, Ink-out, Eliminink, Rejuvi may also be used.
